Misbranded performance-drug seller ordered to forfeit $180,000

DOJ reported one year of probation and $180,000 forfeiture for Skyler Garman’s misbranded-drug and money-laundering conspiracies.

What happened

A September 30, 2026 DOJ announcement reports that Skyler Garman was sentenced to one year of probation for conspiracy involving distribution of misbranded drugs and conspiracy to commit money laundering. The court also ordered $180,000 forfeited as proceeds of the offenses. Garman admitted unlawful interstate distribution of selective androgen and estrogen receptor modulators from 2019–2021. The $180,000 forfeiture is distinct from the business's sales volume and is not described as a restitution award or a regulatory civil penalty.

Garman used Body Science Supplements and related Savior Research brands to sell products, largely unapproved or misbranded drugs, totaling more than $2.2 million. DOJ describes labels stating not for human consumption despite advice to customers on dosing and performance-enhancing use. The proceeds moved through business and personal accounts, with net profit over $180,000. The mismatch between the label and actual marketing is central: research-use wording did not establish lawful human-use distribution. The source addresses SARMs and SERMs in this scheme; it does not establish that every supplement or every drug in those broad classes is unlawful.
